Welcome to the Goodna Scout Group. We are part of the Woogaroo District, in Moreton Region, south east Queensland, Australia.

Scouting helps young people to develop confidence, self reliance, good friend­ship and a concern for their community. The Scout Program is designed to encourage the physical, intellectual, social, emo­tional and spiri­tual develop­ment of young people.

Goodna Scout Group

The Goodna Scout Group offers a large variety of activities to our youth members, such as hiking, camping, canoeing, abseiling, competitions, life skills are cooking, learning knots, making bridges, swings, catapults, chariots and much more!

Over the past years the Goodna Scout Group has been successful in winning regional events such as District camp, Regional Camp, District swimming in the Cub, Scout and Venturer sections and Regional Night Owl.

The Goodna Scout Group was estab­lished in 1969 and currently consists of a number scout sections based on age from 6 to 26 and Adult leaders in all sections are always welcome.

Joey Scout Fun Day 2011 November 2011 Joey Scout Fun Day 2011 The Joey Scouts had a fun day at Atkinson Dam and participated in activities with clues from Santa, hot dogs for lunch, presents from Santa and ending the day getting wet in a water fight. Mrs Wombat's Presentation 2011 November 2011 Mrs Wombat's Presentation 2011 On Tuesday 15th November 2011, Shelly Bayliss aka Mrs Wombat was awarded the Silver Arrowhead for excellent service to the Scouting Association, Joey Scout Leader of the Goodna Scout Group. Group Committee: needs you! The group committee is a body of parents who help to raise funds to run the Group and to support the Leaders in their voluntary roles, however we need more help from parents.
