Welcome to the Goodna Scout Group. We are part of the Woogaroo District, in Moreton Region, south east Queensland, Australia.

Scouting helps young people to develop confidence, self reliance, good friend­ship and a concern for their community. The Scout Program is designed to encourage the physical, intellectual, social, emo­tional and spiri­tual develop­ment of young people.

Goodna Scout Group

The Goodna Scout Group offers a large variety of activities to our youth members, such as hiking, camping, canoeing, absailing, competitions, life skills are cooking, learning knots, making bridges, swings, catapults, chariots and much more!

Over the past years the Goodna Scout Group has been successful in winning regional events such as District camp, Regional Camp, District swimming in the Cub, Scout and Venturer sections and Regional Night Owl.

The Goodna Scout Group was estab­lished in 1969 and currently consists of a number scout sections based on age from 6 to 26 and Adult leaders in all sections are always welcome.

Committee Meeting August 2010 Due to no Cub Scouts on the 9th, the next committee meeting has been moved to the 16th of August. We'd like to invite parents to attend, without your support the group wouldn't be able to run. The committee still needs a Chair Person, Assistant Secretary, Fundraising Officer and Quarter Master. Come on parents - we need you! NO Joey Scouts Tuesday 10/8/2010 There is no Joey Scouts on the 10th of August. NO Cub Scouts Monday 9/8/2010 There is no Cub Scouts on the 9th of August. Leader In Charge July 2010 In recent months some of the Goodna Leaders have left or moved into district roles, this has left some openings for parents who would like to take on a uniformed role in the Group Leader, Scout and Venturer sections. A couple of parents have indicated their interest and will undergo training shortly however there are more people required so if you are interested please contact your child's section leader.
