Lorikeets News -
October/November 2009

by group leader Debbie Hayman

Welcome back to term 4

I apologise for the delay with this newsletter. We have a busy term ahead of us.

With a working bee on 14th November to get everything tidy and organised for the 40th Celebrations on 28th November, we will need quite a bit of help. We will be providing lunch and drinks for this day. It is great to have our youth members help at the working bees but we do also require adult help as some of the jobs that need to be done our youth cannot do. I will be putting a list up in the Den for parents to add their names to, for help with the working bee and the 40th celebrations. Please add your name to the lists.

Our 40th Celebrations is looking to be a great day of activities for all and is a time to celebrate where we have come from to where we are now the activities are free for all but we are asking for a gold coin donation to enter from the general public all Goodna scouting families will have free entry. We would like all uniformed members to wear their uniform and any parents or family members with group shirts, it would be nice to see you wearing them as well.

I hope to see you all at these events that will help grow our group.
