About Scouts
- A Scout Group comprises of young people who have turned 11.5 years old but are not yet 15 years old.
- Scout leaders can be men or women.
- Scout Leaders and Assistant Leaders have animal names.
- At each meeting Scouts take part in various activities including:
- Badge work
- Cord work
- Games

Scouts can work towards badges in the following areas:
- Scoutcraft Badge
- Target Badges
- Proficiency Badges
- Patrol Activity Badges
- Cords
- The Scout Leadership Course
- The Australian Scout Medallion

Registration
$100.00 per child paid when your child first joins. This covers scout registration and accident insurance.
Weekly Subs
$8.00 per child. This is due each week that we meet, 40 weeks per year. Even if your child misses a week your child's subs are still due. The group will pay your registration renewal.
The Uniform
The Scout uniform should always be worn in a neat and tidy manner and with pride.
The Scout uniform for Goodna includes the section shirt, scarf and woggle, and navy blue or black shorts, pants or skirts.
Enclosed shoes are mandatory for safety reasons.
