About Cub Scouts
Welcome to Goodna Bear Pack!
We are an enthusiastic group of 20+ young boys and girls who love Cub Scouts. Our motto is to have 'FUN' whilst trying to do 'OUR BEST'. We do realise this does vary from child to child, however we run our Cub pack on a rotational base method allowing every child to have a go at each activity. We have found this encourages growth and avoids disappointment.
At each meeting Cubs take part in various activities including:
- Badge work / Boomerang work
You can try out Cub Scouts 3 nights for free before making the decision to become invested.
For more information please come along on a Monday night and have a chat to Leader
Baloo (Mitchell) or Sue (Cassowary)
There are 34 achievement badges in 4 different categories:
- Arts and Literature
- Nature, Science and Technology
- Sports and Recreation
- Our World

Cub Scout Fun
Swimming Carnival / Soap Box Derby 2010
The swimming carnival is an annual event and the Cub Scouts have lots of fun competing with other groups. In 2010, Goodna Cub Scouts came 2nd place in the Woogaroo district.
The Soap Box Derby is also an annual event where many groups attend and race each other with plenty of thrills and some occasional spills but overall lots of great fun by all.
